Giveaway: Merry Christmas from Mr. Chewy

A couple of weeks ago Mr. Chewy contacted me with an excellent proposition, $50.00 order credit just to try them out.

I ordered a box full of grain-free treats & other yummy stuff.

The website is easy to navigate, the service was prompt, simple and delivery was fast. Shipping is free on any order over $49.00.  They have a broad selection of pet food, treats and toys to choose from.

Check out Mr. Chewy's available Brands

While I feed raw food to the dogs at home, I will use kibble when we travel.  Mr Chewy offers our favorite brand of dog kibble Acana at competitive prices & with no shipping cost it is the same as going to our local store - without having to lug home the big heavy boxes.

An added bonus - I will be using Mr. Chewy to deliver dog food to Bea while she is in Idaho at training, if needed.  Consider it for the holidays, especially if you travel with your pet by air. Order ahead and have the dog food waiting for you at your destination rather than dragging it with you on your trip.

Just in time for Christmas I would like to give away (courtesy of Mr. Chewy) another $50.00 gift certificate for use on the Mr. Chewy website.

How to Enter:  Visit Mr. Chewy's site.  Pick out what you would like to order, then come back and post a comment telling me what you would like to buy.   Ranger will randomly select the winner on Christmas Eve.

Good Luck!

Those Wishbone Tendons look like a great one! Also, the Go! and Now! are great foods- we've used samples we got at flyball tournaments, but switched to raw before it was carried in any stores near us.

Probably, though, I would go for the ZiwiPeak, Honest Kitchen, or Stella and Chewy, to put in our travel/emergency kit for some freeze dried raw.

OK, honestly the coolest thing or should I say the most intriguing things on there are the banana chips wrapped in chicken and the apple wafers wrapped in chicken. I have never seen those before. I love the Blue Buffalo treats because we use healthy treats for the dog's Night Night cookies.

For starters Milo would like a Meaty Beef Knuckle Bone - The Tank. Jynx and Skye would like Flossies so when they show their teeth they know they are clean and shiny. Blitz wants a Ham bone, cause thats what he is "A Ham." Jess would like the GI bone, he likes the way it sounds. Happy Hips Chicken & Apple for Grizz and Scarlett as they are getting on in age. Bil-Jac Gooberlicious dog treats for Brandi and Doodle, they love to eat and little Kate would like Instinct freeze dried venison cause thats what she is full of "Instinct." Lets not forget the cats would like some Salmon Flavor Greenies That was fun!

Just curious - how do you transition back and forth between raw and kibble when you travel?

Mr Chewy looks like a nice website. Definitely I would chose a box of Honest Kitchen and probably some cans of Evangers or other canned food for our travel/emergency kit. (Normally the dogs eat raw.). I was looking for Trippett canned but they didn't appear to carry it- darn. If so that's what i would have picked.

I would order a selection of senior dog foods for Old Dog Haven. Give some of those sweet seniors a little more kibble in their stockings!

I would order Fromm Gold! I have 2 food sensitive dogs who for 2 years I searched out "fish" food for, most of which they wouldn't keep weight on with. Fromm Gold is a great food and even my sensitive dogs are eating it find and keeping weight on. Its a god send for me, just hard to find around here!!

Boo. Too bad I'm in Canada. Both my parents lab and my friends 13yo malamute/shepherd/wildthing cross (Whom I am babysitting all winter) are on Zukes HipAction and our bank accounts would have enjoyed that.

Regarding the Acana - I noticed all the ones on there are grain free. At the moment I'm feeding Lex and my two "fosters" (babysitting for friend) general old Acana Adult. Is there a huge difference between that and grain free?

I would try the Acana dog food. I have just had to transition my two dogs from raw food to dry and that brand looks interesting.
