Beth is quirky. She can be quite stand-offish to other dogs. Very few dogs make it past her selection process for 'friends'. She suffers no fools gladly and does not tolerate anything less than serious.
Until she met a handsome Aussie last weekend at Ronnie's farm during Dianne's lessons.
(For some reason the voice of Pepe Le Pew comes to mind when I see Spyder.)
Spyder spotted Beth from a distance. He was drawn to her like a moth to flame.
"Ohhhh who eeees this I see?"
"Hey Lolita, intimacy is difficult at this range."
"Le hiiiissssssss! I am a snake and you have charmed me, no?!"
"Come to me, my melon baby collie"
"Everyone should have a hobby, don't you think? Mine is making love."
"You are my peanut. I am your brittle"
"I tell you what. You stop resisting me, and I, I will stop resisting you.
When have you had a better offer than that?"
"She want to play eet zee lover's chase. Eet ees the leetle girl in her. C'est l'amour."
"Alright darling. Enough eees becoming enough. Let us proceed."
"Acres and acres of girls!! And they are all mine!! All mine!!!"
"Thees ees my first affair, so please be kind."
"She look everywhere for me. She find me. Then she run away. WHY?!"
"But, Darling, tomorrow I may be shipped over-seas."
"You know, eet ees not just a case of physical attraction. I admire her behind too.
Come back...pleeeez come back!."
"Alas, their brief love affair came to a screeching halt when Spyder was called away to work sheep. Beth was heart broken, spending the rest of the day sulking in her crate. She may be spayed...but stranger things have happened. Better safe than sorry."
