oh no, poor munchkin. Did the tennnis ball cause it or the non abrasive ball?

My dog once in a while gets a hold of golf balls (she's little)and it scares me. I take it away from her immediately, try to anyway.

Poor Beth. She is probably very tired of all of those ouchie things that get in the way of her fun.

How did a tennis ball do that?

Oh no! Poor Beth. And poor wallet. Higgins usually plays with soft squeaky balls. Mostly because that's all we will give him - but he loves the noise. He will play with tennis balls too, but I have worried that they might hurt him. Now I know for sure!

Nico - Tennis ball fuzz is very abrasive to teeth. As the dogs chew on them or play with them the tennis balls wear the tooth surface down and destroy teeth. Beth came to us from intensive drug detection training where they used tennis balls as a reward for working - we knew she was going to have dental issues when we adopted her, this was a long time in coming.

Ouch, poor Beth. Did you get one extraction for 'free'. I see 6 teeth, but only 5 listed on the bill.
One of our dogs, while fetching a non abrasive ball, caught her bottom jaw on a concrete or metal water valve box just sticking out of the ground. The jaw broke an inch from the front. Poor Calli spent 6 weeks with it wired together, and had to have multiple teeth extracted that broke in the accident. Now I make sure to check the area if playing ball in a strange place

My vet uses that same billing software. My invoices look just like that.
