Today just for grins and giggles we let little Brynn have a try on the puppy sheep at Fido's Farm.
It started out slowly. At first all she wanted to do was eat sheep poop.
I mean, what self respecting puppy would pass up a delicacy like that?
Then while munching - a movement caught her eye.
She stopped...she stared...
She crouched...then started creeping forward..
The sheep turned...and she was hooked
Sucked right into the sheep like a moth to light
She has a very strong eye ...Chris said we will have to be careful or she could get 'stuck' if we try her on sheep too much this early.
She showed confidence.
That tail never went up.
Toward the end I regretted not having a drag line on her.
She was so wrapped up with the sheep she didn't want to stop.
So we played chase the puppy chasing the sheep game...
I finally caught her. She did NOT want to leave her sheep.
She slept like the dead all the way home. *sigh*
Mom is sooooo proud.
I kept saying to John all the way home "Did you see her when she did..." or "Can you believe how she..." and on and on...
His eyes glazed over about 10 miles from home.
Poor guy...married to a border collie herding addict.

it's so cool to watch the instinct kick in!
That is pretty fun to read! Even I am proud of her! Keep up the good work!

Love it, I never doubted for any of that litter to be natural at it.
She looks real good.
Give her a hug for me.
