Una brought Islay, Brynn's littermate to Ronnie's for lessons with Dianne.
Islay went on a great adventure this summer, and it was so good to see her back to her old self.
I was even able to pet her...only after feeding her turkey and sucking up in a big way.
Islay had a delightful surprise with these sheep.
She is used to working the sheep at Brigands, which are dog broke ... to say the least.
It was fascinating to watch her become more relaxed and stylish as she got to use her brain to work sheep that required some thought.
I believe I see a smile on her face...
Islay is taller and thinner than Brynn, but they look alike when they work.
The ears, those are Brynn's ears.
Or would it be "Brynn has Islay's ears?"
Do you see a similarity?
Islay
Brynn
Islay
It was wonderful to see Una & Islay again. We hope to see them more when they come up to work this winter. Please welcome them as they also joined Washington Association of Stockdog Handlers

The resemblance is uncanny!
Love the photos. So who was born first? The older sister gets to claim the ears :)
If it were not for the copper I couldn't tell them apart. But your right, Islay is trimmer. Both are just beautiful.
I love to watch them work.
