Got Balls?

I am good

Yeah, I am THAT good.....

I am good with a beach ball.

Even after I kilt it.  What?  Beachballs and teeth dont mix well?

I am good with red ball.  Spend as much time in cold water as I do...you would have them too.  Errr...wait, that is right - I don't.

Red balls die slightly slower than beach balls.

DIE RED BALL DIE!

Gurlgle gurlgle...

Oooomph...

I told you I am good...

I have rid the world of another deadly red ball - men everywhere are safe.

I am good on a log

Brynn is good in a bog

I am good, even with Bonnie the B-BLEEP-tch hot on my tail.

She is slower than a snail

She thinks she can get me

She can't catch a flea

I am so good... I walk on water.

I am the master of balls

WAIT!   I was set up...the ball bounced off my head.  NO FAIR!

I demand a RETAKE!

Got balls?

Nothing will make up for the pair that were taken from me, but I will keep looking.

Mutterings of a Camera Obsessed Fool

I am in love...

....with my camera

I apologize in advance - all pictures in this post are EXTRA LARGE!  Because...I felt like being EXTRA LARGE today.  Actually I am EXTRA LARGE every day because I went off my damn diet again and have shunned Curves...*sigh* Oh well...I digress.

It is a sad state of affairs.  No one is immune - they are all being photographed.

Who could have passed up that shot?  If I didn't take that picture...I would have well and truly died.

Vicki & Bonnie

That reminds me...Vicki's pup Bug is a year old today.   Do you remember Bug?  Read about the first time Bug and Brynn met here 'Puppy Fest Post'.   Bug and Brynn have grown up together.

I have no idea how I got this picture of Bug, but I think it is rather cool.

Happy Birthday Bug!

I am a slave to this camera...my arm hurts from lugging it around with me. I think I am getting carpal camera syndrome.    Doodle agrees.

So does Blitz....

Blitz is so tired of the camera - he left me on on the side of the river and went to play with non camera people...with tennis balls, don'tcha know.

"Its okay Camera Face....I still love you."

Ranger doesn't love me, he loves the ball

The ball loves him too.

We all know Beth loves the ball.  WOOHOOO!  Perfect catch!

Brynn had a run of bad luck when the ball bounced off her head.  Bummer, Fail.

Happy dogs...I love happy dogs.  I am so happy I have this camera....

I even learned what Bokeh is!  Look Doodle Bokeh!

I am partial to this profile picture of Beth, she displays her long graceful neck and freakishly long tongue... the bokeh is lovely too.

Bokeh is gorgeous.  Don't ask me to explain how I am getting this....because I have no frigging idea.

What is Bokeh?  In photography, bokeh is the blur, or aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image.  However you get it...I like it.

Ranger says "Okay Camera Face, enough of the Bokeh crap....lets talk about my tongue.  Whatcha think 'bout dat huh?  I have cauliflower tongue!"

"Mom, I need to tell you something.....Ranger is an idiot."

Did you know that Bonnie can blow raspberries?  I have proof.

"OMG Camera Face...save me!  Ranger is going to eat me!"

And this is the reason why I am going to die a happy woman.  My life is complete...for I have taken my favorite picture of all time.  Errrr....Well, until I take another one...

Since my camera is permanently attached to my face...I hope I will get another shot like this soon.

Happiness is simple...just visit your local camera store...and for $3,000.000 you too can be assimilated.

Welcome to the collective.

cRAzy LiFe

This New Year began with a bang...of sorts...right upside John's head..  Following a  visit to the ER, MRI and sutures, John is healing nicely and has gone back to work.  His ear was stitched back on successfully.  We lovingly nick named him Mr Potato Head. Although I am leaning toward John Van Gogh.

I would post pictures of him, but he said he would divorce me.  I had to think about that one.   Then it dawned on me that I am still on unemployment - so paying all of my own bills at this juncture is not a good idea.  So you will have to visualize him with his head wrapped in white gauze, huge black eye and a ear skilfully sutured back onto his head.

So, what happened you ask?

My son happened.   My son has schizophrenia.  Living with schizophrenia can rip the fabric of a family apart at the seams.  When he refuses his medication he parts from reality and the delusions & paranoia manifest in violence.  Unfortunately his violence is often directed at John.

The laws in Washington State make caring for these children next to impossible.  The only way we have been able to get help for him is by getting him out of our state and have had him admitted in facilities in other states, such as San Marcos, TX.  Now that he is 18 it is harder.  Still we managed to have him admitted into a facility a few days ago and are praying they do not just 'treat' and 'street' him.  Put a medication bandage on the problem then dump him back into our laps without the legal 'oomph' to force him into therapy or to take his meds.  Although in their defense...there is nothing that can be done.  The trick to treating this is  behavioral/cognitive therapy and medication management - combined with supervision.  Ever tried to supervise a normal 18 year old?  That in itself is difficult...now think about one who thinks the medication is actually uranium and radiating his brain and will try to kill you if you force him to take it.

Washington State law says if the person is not a immediate threat to themselves or others - you cannot force them into treatment.  Even if they recently tried to kill someone - if the doctor asks them "Do you want to hurt  yourself or another person" and they say "No"....they have to release them.  Does that make sense to you?  Since when should a patient who is out of their mind be allowed to decide what is in their best interest?

Sorry, off my soap box now.

So, that is in a nutshell why there are large gaps in my posts.  Crazy life gets in the way.

On really bad days all I have to do is look at this face...

Like sunlight after a long period of rain, he lights up my day.

Such a doofus...

I love him more than...well...chocolate and cheetos.  And that is a whole bunch.

Warm fuzzy goober of my heart.

Everyone should have a big goofy snuggle pup.

Must schmush his face with kisses.

He may not know how to work sheep but he sure knows how to work my heart strings.

I hope he made you smile too.
