Many moons ago I did a post about how hard it is to photograph Beth. Beth approached each photo session like she was being forced to participate in adventures in water boarding. So, I started a training campaign of positive association to the camera. Treats, exercises, play time...everything with the camera present.
Now when I bring out the camera...I get this!
"Oh Hiya! You have a camera! YEAH! FUN TIME!"
"OMDog! TOYS? Toys? Do you have TOY? "
"Is that toy for ME?"
"It is for me! Play with me! Play with me!"
"OMD, OMD, OMD! TUG TUG TUG!
I love the Camera, I love camera face....I am gonna kill this toy!
Yep, shred it up like like Dexter on meth! "
We interrupt Beth's dialog for a brief note from Camera Face: The two preceding shots fall into the "I CANT FREAKING BELIEVE IT" Camera Face hall of fame. Shot on f1.8, 1/200, ISO 1600 all the while Beth was trying to yank me off my feet. I love the motion blur! I love my 50mm lens. *hugs and pats camera and lens, gently kisses it on the top, sighing like a love sick fool.*. Is it pathetic I get off on these types of things? Apparently when you get older things like sex, alcohol and partying are replaced dogs, sheep, pink slippers and cameras...only to transition eventually to Ensure, Depends, bibs and flushable wipes. *Now I am depressed*
Returning to your regularly scheduled Post.
"Listen Camera Face, get a grip. Now you have depressed me! This post is supposed to be about me being happy! Thanks for hijacking my Happy Post and making it an experience in aging terror.
You suck."
"I am sorry Beth...LOOK! A squeaky ball!"
"Did I hear a SQUEAK? We never get to play with squeaky toys in the house! GIMME!"
How about I do you one better? Want to go to the river and play with the chuck-it?
We can leave Bonnie at home!
"I KNOW! Lets take Bonnie and throw her off the bridge? Lets Go NOW!"
(Psst...it is camera face again. The shot above f1.8, 1/160, iso 1600 and MANUAL FOCUS!
YESSSSSSSS!
see Exif data. I can die happy now.)
