Earplugs Anyone?

While going through scads of pictures files I found this little video.

We live 3 blocks from the Carbon River.  When we take the dogs down to the river for off leash runs it is easier and quicker to just pop them into the car than leash everyone up, grab the chuck it & tennis balls and manage walking 4 dogs to the river - without one of them wrapping the leash around my legs and dragging me down the road in front of the neighbors.  I am lazy like that, I like the car.  Besides I hate schlepping the leashes and crap around with me on the levee.

The dogs know exactly where they are going from the minute I put my shoes on.  Drives me nuts.

Evan shot this video ... this is a typical three block drive.   I giggle every time I watch it.

I know which one sleeps well after a trip to the river. So cute.

Haha! Beth in the back seat made me laugh.

I love reading about your dogs and seeing all the pictures - that is a good looking group you have there. Bonnie's naughty spots remind me of Ryan's....

Rescue dogs are the best :)

I like to tell people that I crate my dogs in the car because it's the safest way for them to travel. Truth is, I do it because Bella does that pacing back and forth like Beth and it drives me CRAZY!! Going anywhere with her free in the car is a constant stream of "would you please lie down?"..."would you please lie down?"..."would you please lie down?"

With a few choice words thrown in for good measure. :-)

Laughing - now I know why each one has their own seat belt in Herd land. I think Ranger may receive the award as best behaved, but Beth was a riot in the back seat.

Lacey starts as soon as I sit on the edge of the bed and search thru the sock drawer for a suitable pair. Cause if he's putting on socks, it can only mean ONE thing, right? Cause it's all about Lacey...although I will say, as soon as she's in the car, she curls up in her corner. Let's out a yip each time I turn a corner. There's six corners between here and the big field. Oh, excuse me. LACEY'S big field.

Jane had to get on my lap to watch the video with me. I pointed everyone out and told her who was who.

Looks like Brynn was the best-behaved and quietest. Do you think Ranger wasn't 100% sure where you were going 'til you got there?! THEN he starts barking. Doofus! Gotta love him!
(I do notice the other dogs and love them, too. Does it seem like have "Ranger vision"? lol)

Love it. I see almost the same every time Bob goes out to play ball with the dogs. He usually has several things to do first in the garage and they act just like that pacing at the yard gate.
